Hoje, não existe lugar para imagens lunares porque nesta fase de quase Lua Cheia, a Lua apresenta-se como um disco branco, sem o relevo das crateras lunares que são a maior beleza das suas imagens. À vista desarmada, pode ver-se a Lua, Saturno e Júpiter conforme podem verificar pelo mapa Stellarium.

Céu com bastante nebulosidade impedindo uma correcta focagem do equipamento

Num post inserido aqui anteontem, dava nota do seguinte:

No inicio do mês de Julho, na noite de dia 5, podem ser observados 3 fenómenos astronómicos:

  • o eclipse penumbral da lua, o máximo deste eclipse ocorre pelas 05h30 (veja aqui toda a informação).
  • a lua cheia na constelação de Sagitário, o instante de fase de lua cheia ocorre pelas 05h44.
  • Júpiter a 1,9°N da lua pelas 23 horas.

Por incrível que possa parecer, pensei que era na madrugada de hoje que iria assistir ao eclipse penumbral da Lua, quando este ocorreu na madrugada de ontem, dia 5… Este “desfasamento” temporal tem uma explicação de ordem pessoal que não vou emitir aqui, mas nunca tinha acontecido uma situação deste tipo. Estou muito triste porque perdi, catastroficamente, um acontecimento lunar, dos poucos que podem observar-se durante o ano. Assim, limitei-me a fotografar o actual estado da fase lunar, cujas imagens se seguem.

Como previsto hoje à tarde, céu limpo, pouco seeing, imagens captadas no meu backyard com o refractor Bresser-Messier ∅102/1000mm e a Canon 760D acoplada directamente ao tubo. E como é natural, nesta fase lunar as crateras não têm relevo dada a iluminação directa do Sol.






Consegui captar Júpiter embora bastante distante.

Céu praticamente sem nuvens nesta altura, mas dada a instabilidade e a aproximação da depressão Miguel, não sei se mais logo existirão condições para uma boa visibilidade do nosso calhau. Fico em suspenso…
